Elida Rodriguez Identified As Woman Who Was Killed in San Rafael

On May 18, the coroner identified Elida Delgado Rodriguez as the woman who was killed in the San Rafael pedestrian accident. Rodriguez, 73, died Tuesday morning after the accident at about 8 a.m.

Per the report, Rodriguez was struck by a white box truck while she was crossing the San Rafael intersection. The area in which she was crossing was a marked crosswalk.

The box truck was reportedly traveling north on G Street prior to the incident. The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
