Car and Box Truck Collide on Road 112 

California Highway Patrol are actively investigating a collision involving a box truck on Thursday morning. 

The accident took place on December 16th around 3:30 in the morning in Tulare County.

According to reports, the male driver of a Toyota sedan was speeding on Road 112 before rear-ending the box truck.

The man was transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center with major injuries. 

Sadly, he died while undergoing treatment. His name is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

The box truck driver also sustained minor injuries as a result.

The crash remains under investigation.
