Donald Berg Jr. Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 15 Freeway near Franklin Street in Lake Elsinore
63-year-old Donald Berg Jr. has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision on Saturday morning in Lake Elsinore.
The Riverside County Fire Department says the accident happened on Interstate 15 Freeway near Franklin Street at around 2:35 a.m. on September 9.
The Menifee man was riding a 2007 Yamaha V-Star northbound on 1-15 when a vehicle traveling in the same direction rear-ended him.
Donald was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the involved car was not at the scene when authorities arrived and was yet to be located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
