Deondre Hearn Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley

Deondre Hearn, 24, has been identified as the Hesperia man who died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening in Apple Valley.

At around 7:13 p.m. on September 3, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Bear Valley Road, west of Navajo Road.

61-year-old Ramon Medina, of Apple Valley, was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound on Bear Valley Road when he struck a westbound Kawasaki motorcycle that was making a left turn into a shopping center parking lot.

Hearn was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Medina suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
