David Schuster Dies, 2 Severely Hurt in Riverside Accident on La Cadena Drive and Tolouse Avenue
88-year-old David Schuster, a Riverside resident, was killed, and two others were severely injured after a crash at an intersection in Riverside Tuesday evening.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the collision happened at around 6:25 p.m. on September 5 on West La Cadena Drive just south of Tolouse Avenue.
Per the report, a sedan collided with a transit van at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
Schuster, who was the passenger in the sedan, was declared dead at the scene.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
It was unclear which driver caused the wreck.
Due to the crash, La Cadena was closed partially for several hours.
No more details regarding the incident were provided.
