Daniel Moreso Killed in Crash

The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle near Toluca Lake early Thursday morning has been identified as Daniel Moreso, 25, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The crash took place on the Ventura (101) Freeway at the Vineland Avenue on-ramp at about 3:51 a.m. November 23.

Moreso was hit by a vehicle on the northbound side of the freeway.

Authorities said Moreso died at the scene.

No further information was provided.

The investigation is ongoing.
