Oakland Accident Kills Teen on Interstate 580 

19-year-old Logan Moran died in a Saturday morning collision in Oakland on November 13th. 

CHP reported that the crash occurred at 6:45 a.m. on the westbound Interstate 580 under unclear circumstances. 

A Toyota Scion and a Ford Escape were among the two vehicles involved. 

As a result of the impact, Moran’s car spun out of control and crashed into a cement abutment. 

Moran sadly died at the scene. No other injuries were reported. 

In addition, it was discovered that Moran was speeding at the time of the incident. 

The crash remains under investigation.
