One Killed in Collision on Highway 242
CHP reported a deadly motorcycle accident in Contra Costa on Tuesday night, September 27th.
According to reports, the wreck took place at 11:12 p.m. on Highway 242.
An SUV and motorcycle collided for unknown reasons near the 680 Freeway.
The bike ended up beneath the car after the collision and the rider sadly died as a result.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin.
An active investigation remains underway.
