Collision Involving 2 Pickup Trucks Central Avenue Reported in Fresno

A Fresno car accident was reported early Thursday morning at East Central Avenue and South Temperance Avenue, by the California Highway Patrol group.

The drivers of a a silver Chevrolet pickup truck and a silver Ford pickup truck collided due to unknown reasons. The wreck took place at about 7:55 a.m. and caused both trucks to veer off the roadway into a nearby field, police said. Debris scattered across the roadway.

Authorities had to close down the highway during the cleanup and investigation of the crash. Meanwhile, tow trucks responded and removed the two damaged vehicles from the field.

Paramedics responded with at least one ambulance for the injured. Additionally, authorities are piecing together evidence to determine fault for the Fresno car accident at Central Avenue.
