Christopher Casey Killed in Crash on SR 253 in Ukiah
The man who was killed in a traffic collision in Ukiah last week on Thursday has been identified as Christopher Casey, 47, of Santa Rosa, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on SR 253 near Stipp Lane on November 16.
Authorities said Casey was driving an SUV west on SR 253 when he drifted into the path of oncoming vehicles and collided head-on with an eastbound truck.
Casey was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was taken to a Ukiah hospital with moderate injuries.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
