Motorcyclist, 21, Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck
Christian Dominguez, a 21-year-old individual, tragically lost his life in a collision with a semi-tractor trailer truck on the Riverside (91) Freeway, just east of Central Avenue. The two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25th, in the westbound lanes of State Route 91 in Riverside, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
According to authorities, the collision took place in the No. 3 lane, involving the motorcyclist and the semi-truck. However, further details about the incident have not been released at this time, according to a report by The Patch.
Upon receiving the distress call, Riverside Fire Department crews promptly arrived at the scene, but sadly, Christian Dominguez was pronounced dead on-site, as confirmed by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.
In response to the fatal crash investigation, the CHP’s Riverside station temporarily closed several freeway traffic lanes for approximately three hours.
