Minor Injuries Sustained in Whittier Car Accident on Interstate 605 near Washington Boulevard

Authorities are investigating a minor injury collision that happened Tuesday morning in Whittier.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup was reported at about 6:39 a.m. on northbound Interstate 605, just north of Washington Boulevard.

Three vehicles, including a black Chevrolet and a Ford Sprinter van, were involved in the collision.

Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the crash.

Responding paramedics said the accident resulted in minor injuries. It was unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
