Chico Accident on Mangrove Avenue Leaves 2 Injured
On Monday afternoon, July 26th, an accident involving a black Jeep and white Dodge SUV occurred at the intersection of Mangrove and East 9th Ave. The collision took place at 1 p.m. Following the crash two people were transported to the hospital and there were traffic delays.
An investigation of the crash is still underway as it is unknown what caused it.
The two people transported to the hospital were a young girl and woman but the relationship, age and names have not yet been disclosed. The severity of their injuries also remains unknown.
The vehicles involved were moved by tow trucks and investigators of Chico Police Department are actively investigating what led to the crash.
