78-year-old Charles Landreth, of Murrieta, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lake Elsinore on Saturday afternoon.

The fatal motorcycle accident happened around 1:35 p.m. on Ortega Highway (Highway 74) near Grand Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Landreth was killed in the accident.
