40-Year-Old Man ID’d in Deadly Oxnard Accident 

A male pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver and killed in Oxnard on Monday morning. 

The incident took place at Ventura Road and Ninth Street on August 29th just after 1 a.m. 

Carlos Rangel Flores, 40, of Oxnard, suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center. 

Flores sadly died later at the hospital.

The involved driver also fled the scene and remains at large.
