Halloween Car Crash Kills Two People
Two people died on Halloween night in a two-vehicle collision in Sacramento.
Brian Freriks, 30, and Ciara Navarro, 25, were killed in the crash that took place about 8:20 p.m. at 7th and L Street.
At this time it is unclear what followed up to the deadly collision at the intersection.
Four other people were also injured as a result.
Brian Freriks died at the scene, however Navarro was transported to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The condition of the others injured has yet to be disclosed.
Additionally, authorities shut down the intersection for several hours pending cleanup and investigation.
