Boy Killed in Pedestrian Las Vegas Crash

An unidentified boy was the victim of a pedestrian crash on Saturday, September 25th in the northwest valley. 

The fatal accident occurred at about 12:22 p.m. in the area of Centennial Center Boulevard and Tropical Parkway. 

According to police, the boy crossed against a “do not walk” pedestrian signal. 

The boy was reportedly hit by a 48-year-old who was driving a Ford Fusion northbound. Following the crash, the boy was taken to University Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries. 

The driver of the Ford Fusion was fully cooperative with authorities and remained at the scene.
