Franklin Mejia fell onto the roadway after being hit by a car and was run over by another vehicle

Franklin Mejia 42, was killed in a collision in Newhall on Saturday afternoon, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The crash happened on Railroad Avenue and Market Street at about 1:08 p.m. on November 25.

Franklin Mejia fell onto the road after being struck by a car. He was then run over by another vehicle.

42-year-old Franklin Mejia died in the accident.

No other injuries were reported. The crash is under investigation.
