Rider Killed in Modesto Bicycle Crash on McHenry and Union Avenues

A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in Modesto, according to the Modesto Police Department.

The wreck happened at McHenry and Union avenues at around 7 p.m. November 15.

Police said a man was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.

The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
