Rear-End Crash on 10 Freeway Results in Major Injuries 

Investigators are working to determine the cause of a big rig accident that occurred in Beaumont on Friday morning.

It was around 2 a.m. on May 20th when a sedan crashed into the back of a big rig. 

CHP reported that the accident took place on the 10 eway near Main Street. 

Due to the impact, the driver of the sedan became trapped inside the vehicle and suffered major injuries.

Paramedics transported the driver to the hospital for treatment.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything
