One Airlifted Following Crash on 15 Freeway 

Two vehicles collided in Baker, California on Friday morning, leaving one person with major injuries.

Per reports, the accident took place at about 12:16 a.m. within the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway. 

A Ford Fiesta collided with another unidentified vehicle under unclear circumstances. 

One person suffered head and face injuries as a result and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. 

Police also shut down all lanes for a period of time after the wreck.

Additionally, tow trucks were needed to remove the vehicles from the scene. 

An active investigation remains underway. 

Tips for after accident procedures:

  • Always stop at the scene 
  • Call 911 if there are any injuries 
  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
