Alejandro Munoz Killed in Canoga Park Crash on Topanga Canyon Blvd

Alejandro Lopez Munoz, 26, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash last month in Canoga Park.

The collision happened around 1:15 a.m. on January 31, at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A 2005 silver Toyota Camry and a dark-colored sedan were traveling at a high rate of speed moments before the vehicles collided on southbound Topanga Canyon.

The impact of the collision caused the Camry to crash into a power pole.

Munoz, a resident of Northridge, was killed in the accident..

The driver of one of the cars who was later identified as 60-year-old Kenya Obinna of Canoga Park, fled the scene but was later located and arrested on Thursday.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
