Car Crashes into Homeless Encampment, Killing Two People 

A vehicle fleeing from the police crashed into a homeless encampment on Tuesday afternoon, August 2nd. 

The crash resulted in two people being killed on West 52nd Place and South Flower Street in South LA. 

It was around 12:40 p.m. when the crash happened and the male driver tried fleeing the scene. 

Sadly, Albert Leal, 44, and Lashonda Davis, 43, were killed as a result.

The suspect was taken into custody after the accident.
