Aesjah Alysee Penn, a 27-year-old resident of Sacramento, lost her life in a devastating pedestrian accident on Marysville Boulevard. The fatal collision occurred around 9:02 p.m. on July 23rd, as reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
According to KCRA News, a driver struck Aesjah Alysee Penn in the roadway near Sonoma Avenue. The impact resulted in severe injuries, causing her to go down on the roadway.
Paramedics from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene promptly and transported her to a hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite their efforts to save her life, Aesjah Alysee Penn succumbed to her injuries and tragically passed away.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police during their questioning about the incident. As authorities continue to investigate the circumstances, it remains uncertain if there are any charges against the driver at this time.
