Injured Teen Airlifted After Oceanside Pedestrian Accident

On Monday, February 6 around 11:15 PM, a 17-year-old teenager was severely injured in an Oceanside pedestrian accident. According to California Highway Patrol, the incident took place in a parking lot near North Harbor Drive.

Evaluating the Oceanside Pedestrian Accident Scene

When CHP arrived to the accident scene, they found the 17-year-old teen laying unconscious in the parking lot. First responders immediately airlifted the teenager to Scripps in La Jolla to receive treatment for his life-threatening injuries. Eventually, officers were about to identify the hit-and-run motorist, who was a 15-year-old boy. Authorities have withheld the victim’s identity in process of notifying the parents.
