River Park Truck Accident Injures 6
A truck crashed into a bank in the River Park area of Fresno County, leaving 6 people injured.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning around 10:30 a.m.
A woman in her 70s was pulling into a parking space with a Chevy Silverado when she accelerated by accident instead of putting the vehicle in park.
As a result, the truck plowed through the front of the bank.
Six people suffered injuries, one of which was directly hit by the truck; however, only three were taken to the hospital.
The driver and her husband occupied the truck. It is unclear if they suffered any injuries.
Tips for after accident procedures:
- Always stop at the scene
- Call 911 if there are any injuries
- Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
- Exchange information with others involved and document everything
- Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
