Highway 33 Crash Leaves 5 Hospitalized
The cause of a two-car collision that occurred in Mendota Tuesday morning remains under investigation.
According to CHP, the wreck took place at 4:48 a.m. on Highway 33 on July 5th.
A white van and brown sedan crashed for unknown reasons near W Panoche Road and W California Avenue.
Five people suffered injuries and were hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center. In addition, one person had to be airlifted.
Highway 33 was also shut down for a period of time as investigators worked at the scene.
