Man Hit & Killed by Motorcycle on 10 Freeway
21-year-old Armando Hernandez was struck by a motorcycle and killed in Santa Monica last Tuesday.
Per reports, the incident took place around 3:30 a.m. on Cloverfield Boulevard on the 10 Freeway.
Hernandez was attempting to cross the freeway for unknown reasons, according to CHP, when the rider hit him.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
Additionally, the motorcyclist suffered injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
It is unclear at this time what factored into the accident.
Police also shut down the area for a period of time as crews worked at the scene.
