Fatal Taxi Cab Crash in San Francisco
Following a collision with another vehicle, a taxi cab struck three pedestrians in San Francisco Sunday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Third and Mission Street.
It is unclear what caused the initial collision. Due to the impact, the taxi went onto the sidewalk and struck three pedestrians.
Unfortunately, two of the female pedestrians were declared dead at the scene. The third male pedestrian also suffered unspecified injuries and was hospitalized.
Additionally, the taxi cab driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
Investigators are actively working to determine fault.
