Rear-End Collision on West Texas Street Injures CHP Officer
A delivery truck crashed into the back of a patrol car on Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred in Fairfield on April 18th around 1:00 p.m.
Per CHP, the truck driver told authorities he had fallen asleep which led to the collision.
Due to the impact, the patrol car was pushed into the vehicle in front of it.
As a result, the officer reported neck and back pain and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
