215 Freeway Crash Leaves 2 Injured
Seven vehicles were involved in a collision on Monday morning in San Bernardino.
The incident occurred on March 21st within the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway.
Per CHP, the collision took place at 1:50 a.m. just north of 5th Street.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center and San Bernardino Community Hospital.
It was also reported that a separate three-vehicle accident occurred in the same area around the same time.
An active investigation is underway to determine liability.
Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
