Man Hit & Killed by Vehicle in Santa Barbara 

A 40-year-old man, ID’d as Justin Howze Juniel, was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday evening, March 14th.

The incident occurred in Santa Barbara around 8:30 p.m. on State Street.

It is unclear at this time what caused the crash. 

Juniel sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where he sadly died.

No details have been provided regarding the involved driver. 

An active investigation is underway.
