Fatal Pedestrian Accident Near USC Campus
21-Year-Old Arian Rahbar, a USC college student, was the victim of a deadly pedestrian accident on Saturday afternoon.
The accident was the result of two vehicles street racing around 3 p.m. on Jefferson Boulevard.
Per reports, Rahbar was in a marked crosswalk on December 11th when he was struck just steps away from his front door.
According to authorities, a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was racing an Infiniti G37 when it hit the man.
Sadly, Rahbar died at the scene of the crash.
Both involved drivers stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities. It is unclear if they are facing charges at this time.
An active investigation is underway.
