Fiery Head-On Collision in Hot Springs
One woman was killed and one man injured following a head-on collision in Desert Hot Springs on Tuesday night.
The deadly crash took place around 10:46 p.m. on September 21st on Little Morongo Road.
According to reports, an unidentified 20-year-old woman driving northbound in a Lexus swerved into oncoming traffic.
As a result, she collided head-on with a southbound Toyota Corolla driven by a man.
Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, on the other hand, sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The impact of the head-on collision caused a fire, per reports.
Furthermore, neither drugs or alcohol are considered a factor at this time. However, the crash remains under investigation.
