Two-Vehicle Collision Leaves 3 People Dead

An early Wednesday morning car crash claimed the life of three people on August 25th. 

The collision reportedly took place at about 2:25 a.m. on Highway 101 near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. 

Both of the vehicles caught fire after the crash which had to be put out by the Santa Barbara Fire Department. 

The three people who were killed have yet to be identified. 

Only a small percentage of crashes result in fires, however the fatality rate is high in these instances.
