Cerain Baker, Jaiden Johnson and Natalee Moghaddam Died in Crash

A multi-vehicle collision left 2 people hospitalized and 3 dead in the early hours of Wednesday, August 4th.

There were a total of three cars involved in the crash that was reported at about 12:15 a.m. According to the Burbank Police Department, it took place near the intersection of Andover Drive and Glenoaks Boulevard.

A Mercedes-Benz along with a Kia were street racing, headed northbound on Glenoaks when they collided with a Volkswagen that was turning onto Andover Drive.

Since the force of the impact was so strong, one of the vehicles was sheared in half. Two of the three people who died were also ejected from the vehicle.

There were also several parked vehicles that were hit.

The three killed were in the Volkswagen and pronounced dead at the scene. They have been ID’d as Cerain Baker, 21, Jaiden Johnson, 20, and Natalee Moghaddam, 19.

Cerain Baker is the son of comedian Tony Baker.

The driver of a Kia along with a fourth person were transported to the hospital and they are in critical condition.

Roads nearby have been shut down pending investigation. No arrests or citations have been made but speed was a factor in the collision.

According to the NHTSA, speeding was a contributing factor in 26% of traffic accidents that resulted in death(s) in 2018. The dangers of speeding include:

  • Loss of control of vehicle
  • Increase in crash severity
  • Increase in fuel consumption and/or cost
  • Reduces the effectiveness of protection equipment

Always make sure to wear a seatbelt, obey traffic laws, and avoid distractions while driving.
