Big Rig Crash Killed 54-Year-Old Man

A deadly crash happened early Friday morning in Keyes, CA on Highway 99.

The collision occurred around 3:15 a.m. just north of Faith Home Road on August 13th.

CHP reports stated that the 54-year-old was driving a big rig northbound when it veered off the roadway. As a result, he hit another semi-truck and a Toyota Camry that were parked on the shoulder.

The big rig continued, crashing a dirt embankment, thus causing it to flip on its side.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been ID’d pending notification of kin.

Passengers in the Camry were not injured. The other semi-truck that was parked had nobody inside.

No further details have been reported and the crash is still under investigation.
