Florin Car Accident Injures 1 on French Road near Florin Road

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that took place Tuesday morning near Florin, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck was reported at about 6:47 a.m. in the 7235 block of French Road near Florin Road.

A green Chevrolet Avalanche and a silver Toyota Corolla were involved in the collision.

Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene after the collision.

One person was taken to Methodist Hospital of Sacramento with the complaint of pain to the back.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
