Deadly Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Main Street

Investigators are working to locate the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Riverside Tuesday night. 

The driver reportedly hit a 15-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle in the 2599 block of Main Street. 

Per reports, the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on March 1st under unclear circumstances. 

The boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at 9:53 p.m. 

It was also reported that the involved driver fled the scene following the crash. 

An active investigation is underway.
