Car Accident on Highway 101 near Highway 23 in Moorpark

At least one person was injured in a car crash on Friday morning in Moorpark.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 3:18 a.m. on Highway 101 near Highway 23.

A gray Chevrolet Impala and a second vehicle were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
