Sona Mkrtichyan is our Settlement Negotiations Assistant at JT Legal Group. She recently graduated from UCI with honors with a B.S. in Biological Science and a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She remained active in Armenian organizations during her time at UCI by being Vice President of Alpha Gamma Alpha Armenian Cultural Sorority, a member of the Armenian Student Association, and volunteered with the Armenian Assembly of America, Inc.
Prior to joining JT Legal Group, Sona worked as a laboratory technician at UCI, conducting Alzheimer’s research alongside graduate students and senior scientists. She is certified in “Bioethics: The Law, Medicine, and Ethics of Reproductive Technologies of Genetics” by Harvard University’s online extracurricular program and participates in the Armenian Engineers & Scientists of America philanthropic organization.
Sona plans to enter law school this upcoming year with the goal of pursuing a career in patent law. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading classic novels, spending quality time with loved ones, and online shopping with an iced latte in hand.
