Major Injuries Suffered in Highway 29 Motorcycle Accident
The cause of a motorcycle accident that occurred in Yountville remains under investigation.
Per CHP, the incident took place at 4:33 a.m. within the southbound lanes of Highway 29.
A motorcycle and silver sedan collided at Madison Street for unknown reasons on June 21st.
Jay Wade,52, was the rider who suffered major injuries and was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
The sedan also acquired major front-end damage as a result. Tow trucks were needed to remove both vehicles from the scene.
In addition, police shut down all southbound lanes for a period of time following the wreck.
An active investigation is underway.
