Fatal Traffic Accident on 5 Freeway
Two vehicles collided head-on in San Diego on Tuesday morning, killing one person and injuring another.
According to CHP, the collision occurred around 11 a.m. on the I-5 Freeway on April 12th.
A 65-year-old man was traveling north in a Ford before drifting into other lanes and colliding with a Volkswagen Jetta.
Upon impact, the Ford overturned and the 63-year-old female passenger was ejected.
First responders rushed the woman to the hospital where she sadly died due to her injuries.
In addition, the Ford driver sustained major injuries and the Volkswagen driver received treatment for minor injuries.
