Fatal Truck Accident on Marks and Manning Avenues 

71-year-old Guillermina Lara was killed after her vehicle was hit by a fuel truck on Wednesday evening. 

Lara stopped at a stop sign in the area of Marks and Manning Avenues at about 6:43 p.m. on July 13th.

As she proceeded through the intersection, the driver’s side of her vehicle was struck by the truck. 

Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene as a result. 

No injuries were reported from the truck driver.

The crash remains under investigation.
