Multi-Vehicle Collision Leaves 65-Year-Old Woman Injured
Three vehicles were involved in a traffic collision on Thursday morning in Porter Ranch.
Per reports, the incident took place at 7:49 a.m. on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway.
A Ford Focus and two other vehicles collided within the eastbound lanes just west of Reseda Boulevard.
The impact caused major front-end damage to the Ford.
It was also reported that a 65-year-old unidentified woman suffered leg pain after the wreck.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
