William Merinko Victim in Palm Springs Collision
67-year-old William Merinko was killed in a traffic accident on Tuesday night in Palm Springs.
The fatal crash took place around 10:20 p.m. on October 12th at the intersection of Sunrise Way and Techevah Drive.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, Merinko was thrown from his vehicle following the impact.
When paramedics responded to the scene they transported Merinko to Desert Regional Medical Center.
Sadly, despite life-saving efforts, Merinko died at the hospital early Wednesday morning.
In addition, the second driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
Circumstances as to what led to the collision remain unclear.
