Motorcyclist Identified in Fatal Watts Traffic Accident 

A fatal motorcycle accident took place in Watts, California Saturday evening. 

It was just after 6 p.m. when a car and motorcycle collided on June 25th.

Per reports, the car turned left in front of the bike at the intersection of Compton Avenue and Century Boulevard. 

It was also reported that the driver was headed northbound on Century and the motorcyclist was traveling south on Compton. 

65-year-old Obera Washington, the rider, sustained major injuries and sadly died at the scene. 

The involved driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities. 

An active investigation is underway.
