Vespa Accident in Bayview Leaves One Injured
An ongoing investigation is currently in place for a Bayview Vespa accident that took place April 1st at 3:35 PM. According to the dispatch team of the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of Herrick & Meyers Avenue.
Moments Leading Up to the Vespa Accident
The Humboldt County Vespa accident began when the rider of the Vespa and a gray Toyota Sequoia collided for unknown reasons. When local firefighters and paramedics arrived, they tended to the injured Vespa rider. The rider was rushed to Providence St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of the major injuries sustained from the accident. CHP closed the intersection of Meyers & Herrick Avenue to investigate the matter. The investigation is still ongoing.
