Davenport Pedestrian Crash Leaves Woman Injured
A 21-year-old woman by the name of Annalisa Godoy was injured in a pedestrian crash on Monday.
Godoy was struck by a pickup truck on State Route 1 in Davenport on September 26th.
Per authorities, the incident occurred at 4:19 p.m. in the middle of the roadway.
It is unclear at this time what caused the accident.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of major trauma.
An active investigation remains underway.
There was a 26% increase in pedestrian deaths in California from 2014-2018.
In addition, California’s pedestrian fatality rate is about 25% higher than the national average.

- Avoid distractions (use of headphones, cell phone)
- Obey traffic laws & signals
- Always use crosswalk
