77-Year-Old Man Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision
Multiple vehicles collided on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of Tyrone Pate.
The accident occurred in Granada Hills on March 1st around 11:45 a.m.
Reports included that the accident took place within the eastbound lanes of the 405 Freeway.
Several vehicles collided under unclear circumstances according to CHP, and one of the cars flipped several times as a result.
The same car then crashed into the center divider along with a traffic pole.
Unfortunately, Pate died at the scene.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
